Overview of Rainin Pipette-Lite XLS+

Rainin Pipette-Lite XLS+ are optimized to support an ergonomic performance which decreased tip ejection force by 85% to prevent user strain and fatigue, while sustaining enhanced precision and accuracy. This is guaranteed by the incorporated LiteTouch Tip Ejection System (LTS).

Rainin Pipette-Lite XLS+ are available in single-channel, multi-channel, and adjustable spacer models to accommodate dispensing liquids at volumes of 0.1 µL up to 1,200 µL.

The LiteTouch System (LTS)

The Rainin LiteTouch System (LTS) dramatically reduces the amount of force required to load and eject tips. LTS pipettes work in concert with LTS tips to deliver a perfect seal every time.

+ LTS tips slide easily over the shaft to create a firm, air-tight fit with minimal force.

+ A thin sealing ring near the top of an LTS tip virtually eliminates friction between the tip and shaft, minimizing ejection force.

+ Positive stop prevents over insertion of the tip and assures an airtight seal.

Pipette Management Simplified

+ A unique RFID chip embedded in every Rainin XLS/XLS+ pipette, which stores all calibration data.

+ SmartStand with 4 hanging positions allow fast scanning RFID chip and và displaying pipette status on the color screen. SmartStand also provide charging function for electrical pipettes (E4).

+ SmartCheck allows fast pipette accuracy verification within 60 seconds. SmartCheck can verify the performance of any brand of pipette dispensing volumes between 10 – 1,000µL.

+ PipetteX asset management software, which connects to SmartStand via Bluetooth or USB drive to automatically transfer serial numbers, service and other data to the PipetteX database.

PipetteX asset management software, together with SmartStand, SmartCheck and Rainin calibration services, is a unique pipette tracking and calibration management system, which compliance FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11. This makes it easy to track the status, location, calibration and service schedule for any pipette.

Secure volume lock

The snag-proof lock design on XLS+ pipettes prevents accidental volume drift while allowing for rapid volume adjustment, even while wearing gloves.

Autoclavable

XLS+ single-channel pipettes are designed for easy autoclaving where it counts: the complete liquid end, including the seals and piston. Autoclaving won’t compromise performance or feel.
